DATRON Clamping Modules

Cost-effective manufacturing with quick clamping in a matter of seconds

Set-up times can be reduced drastically with the new module clamping technique of DATRON. Module plates which locate via conical centring sleeves are directly locked in position by vacuum on the table (M8) or on a base plate. The ad- vantage lies in an extremely quick change of clamping modules and the high repetitive accu- racy of the clamping position of a few hundredths of a millimetre. Naturally the modules can also be screwed up in the conventional manner.

Clamping devices, such as vices or workpieces, can be fastened to module clamping plates. The modules are fastened on the machine table either with a screw connection or with the vacuum suctioning system.




T-slot module clamping plates

MS-TN

The T-slot module clamping plate offers room for application-specific fastening solutions or the combination of a short-stroke clamping element and fixed clamping jaw.
The modules are fastened on the machine table either with a screw connection or with the vacuum suctioning system. If several T-slot module clamping plates are arranged next to each other, the two- and three-row ones must alternate, or a gab of 50 mm will be formed. In order to take advantage of the high flexibility of T-slot clamping systems even on the milling machines M8, M8XL, M35, M85 and M10, the machine table can be upgraded with four T-slot module clamping plates. The modules can be alternatively fastened with screws or with the vacuum suctioning system.

Take advantage of the vacuum force! DATRON vacuum module clamping plates offer maximum clamping force and simplest handling. The vacuum module clamping plates are available in different sizes. They are divided up into segments which can be operated separately from each other with a vacuum distributor. Several identical or even different workpieces can be set up simultaneously. The special DATRON cardboard VacuCard™ distributes the vacuum unter the workpiece and also acts as sacrificial layer.

It is used everywhere where high flexibility, high operating comfort and short conversion times are required. The clamping element is designed for operation on a T-slot plate, but can also be used stationary.
